Mr Patel is very approachable and listened carefull to the issues I was having. Upon discussion a surgical response was decided upon and this happened in a timely manner. The results have been very satisfactory and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Mr Patel.

Mr Patel carried out a shoulder replacement just over a year ago. I am extremely pleased with the result and my expectations were more than met. So important to have the right surgeon but also to be extremely focuses on a concentrated regime of physio.

Mr Patel came highly recommended because of that I elected to use his services for my shoulder operation. All went smooth on the day with excellent nursing staff, Mr Patel discussed the operation with me beforehand so that was heartening. After the operation and waking up, the service was a just a little bit rushed by th epost op staff, and whilst in a daze a bit hard to take in all the detail, however there is a phone number provided for post care – so all good in the end. 6 months down the line all seems well and another 6 months should see faster sports being played. Thank you again.

Mr Patel diagnosed that I needed surgery to repair the rotator cuff on my right shoulder through thorough investigation including an MRI scan. On his advice I had first had physiotherapy to see if by that I could avoid surgery. That was unsuccessful. So I was clear that surgery was needed.explained the nature of the upcoming surgery and the regime for recovery very clearly. He talked me through this again shortly before he performed the operation (which was in early December 2015). And he came to tell me how the surgery had gone soon after I was back in my hospital room. I have made a much quicker recovery, and regained far more of my shoulder flexibility and strength, than might have been expected. This is a tribute to his surgical excellence, backed by his very good team. And his Secretary was always enormously helpful. I am likely to need surgery on my other shoulder in coming months and I shall ask Mr Patel to perform that.
